Electronic Weighing Scales

We can accommodate all your applications from super-micro balances to 10,000 pound heavy duty platform scales. Industrial scales are available in mild steel or stainless steel construction for wash-down applications. All scales used for commercial applications will have the approval of national type evaluation program (NTEP) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology(NIST) requirements contained in Handbook 44. For hazardous and explosive environment applications we can provide explosion proof, purged and intrinsically safe scale systems.

Electronic Parts Counting Scales

We supply a wide range of electronic parts counting scales from easy to operate high-resolution balances to large 10,000 pound heavy duty platform scales. Our parts counting scales are designed to provide a full range of scale functions from two key operation to dual scale counting systems where sampling is performed on a light-capacity scale and the bulk of the items are counted on a larger unit. Options include battery operation, bar code scanners, printers, alpha-numeric keyboards and radio frequency signal transmission.

Motor Truck Scales

Mountain Scales, Inc. can offer its customers a choice of motor truck scales, from axle scales; self-contained full length electronic portable contractor’s scales, multi-axle weighing systems, fully electronic scales for above-ground and pit installations. Motor truck lengths from 10 feet to 120 feet with either steel or concrete decks. Standard widths of 10, 11 and 12 feet accommodate farm industry equipment.

Railroad Scales

Electronic railroad scales for weighing fully-loaded railcars using low-profile modular pitless track scales. The units are designed to comply with Cooper E-80 loading, AAR Scale Handbook and NIST Handbook 44 requirements for commercial use. For railroad hopper car loadout monitoring systems we can provide a low-cost not legal for trade system. It’s designed to maximize the filling of cars while avoiding overloads.

Combination Truck/ Track Scale

A legal for trade pit scale weighing system that can be used to weigh fully loaded railcars as well as loaded truck traffic. These scales are fully electronic and are available with either a steel or concrete deck surface.

Inventory Scales

Our rental scale inventory is stocked with easy to operate electronic weigh count scales as well as 10,000 pound heavy duty platform scales. Dual scale parts counting systems are available for applications requiring accurate counts of large quantities of small parts. The operator can sample a small quantity of parts on a light capacity scale to establish the unit weight of the item and a large capacity scale to count the bulk of the remaining items. Battery operated scales are also available for use in remote locations or large facilities that have a shortage of power outlets.
